A senior, his dogs, and a beautiful park

To many people a dog is a best friend. When Tristan asked to bring his dogs to his senior photo shoot I couldn’t say no. We had a great day in this beautiful park and the two dogs did their part well, almost as if they knew they had to pose. The trick is to bring a toy that makes noise and be ready to use it to get the dogs’ attention.  Of course don’t forget to praise the dogs for a job well done and a treat doesn’t hurt!

Tristan is a bit serious and quiet but with a little bit of conversation I was able to get him smiling a little bit and I think I captured his personality pretty well. We met at beautiful Lawson Garden and had great weather. Managing to get images of a senior guy in a park can sometimes be tricky when there are a lot of flowers in bloom.  Often guys are not too excited about having a lot of flowers in their images. The park is beautiful and loaded with many spots that have just beautiful greenery and massive trees. Sometimes the right angle can make a world of difference.

I really enjoyed working with Tristan and his wonderful dogs.  I enjoy capturing moments for people and I am looking forward to many more. Here are some images from that day.
